Broad Responsibilities:
The Senior Assistant Engineer (I&C) is responsible for executing field-related instrumentation and control (I&C) tasks in compliance with standard operating procedures. This role involves maintaining accurate records, ensuring documentation is up to date, identifying spare parts and consumable needs, and communicating requirements for purchase requisitions to the Assistant Manager or Deputy Manager.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Compliance: Ensure adherence to K Electric’s Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) systems and policies.
• Maintenance Management: Execute and document preventive and corrective maintenance for instrumentation and control systems using the SAP system.
• Material Identification: Identify and prepare material requisitions for spare parts, hardware, consumables, and tools necessary for maintenance tasks.
• Data Management: Collect and analyze data, implementing and utilizing the SAP system effectively.
• Modifications and Safety Improvements: Recommend modifications related to I&C systems and safety protocols.
• Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and order in areas associated with instrumentation and control.
• Safety Implementation: Adhere to safety measures and maintain good housekeeping practices during maintenance activities.
• Discipline and Compliance: Promote discipline by ensuring punctuality and adherence to company rules and policies.
• Reporting: Provide timely and accurate data and reports as required by management, formatted to meet departmental standards.
• Tool and Equipment Readiness: Proactively identify necessary tools and consumables to ensure safe and efficient job execution.
• Audits: Conduct regular audits of tools and calibrators to ensure they are maintained properly.
• Additional Tasks: Perform any other tasks assigned by management related to departmental functions.

Safety Responsibilities:

• Promote HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) awareness among all staff members.
• Attend all scheduled and assigned HSE training sessions and meetings.
• Ensure compliance with Minimum Safety Activities (MSA), D-level requirements, and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Qualifications/Experience:

• Diploma in Associate Engineering (DAE) or B. Tech in Electronics.
• Relevant experience in instrumentation and control systems.
