The Role of the Video Editor

As a Video Editor at SRTX, you will work closely with our creative team to produce short-form video content that captivates audiences and aligns with our brand’s message. From social media campaigns to paid and organic content, your videos will drive engagement and amplify our brand presence. Key Responsibilities of the Video Editor

1. Edit Engaging Campaign Video Content

As a Video Editor, your primary responsibility will be to edit and produce high-quality, campaign-focused video content. 2. Create Conversion-Focused Videos for Paid Social

Another important aspect of the Video Editor role is creating video iterations designed specifically for paid social content. You will edit videos that are optimized for conversion, ensuring they resonate with the target audience and encourage interaction. Your expertise in video editing will help drive measurable results for paid advertising campaigns.

3. Select and Implement Music That Aligns with the Brand Tone

Music is a critical element in video production, and as a Video Editor, you will be responsible for finding and implementing the perfect soundtrack that complements each video. The music must reflect the SRTX brand tone, helping to elevate the overall message and enhance the viewer’s experience.

4. Create Video Toolkits for External Advertising Partners

You will also be responsible for creating video toolkits that external advertising partners can use for their campaigns. These toolkits will include optimized versions of videos for various platforms, ensuring brand consistency and maximum impact when shared beyond our internal channels.

5. Organize Video Deliverables and Files

Efficient file organization is key to a smooth editing process. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for maintaining an organized system for video deliverables and project files, ensuring everything is easily accessible for team members and collaborators. Clear organization will help streamline workflows and keep the creative process efficient.

6. Create and Implement Motion Graphics for Video Outputs

In addition to editing, you will have the opportunity to create and implement motion graphics within your video projects. Adding dynamic motion elements will enhance the visual appeal of the videos, making them more engaging and effective in capturing the audience’s attention.

7. Explore New Editing Trends and Strategies

Required Skills & Competencies

To succeed in the role of Video Editor, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A compelling reel of editing work, with experience in short-form, paid content.
  • Strong proficiency in video editing software such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Working knowledge of After Effects for creating motion graphics.
  • Basic knowledge of design tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • A results-driven mindset, with a strong focus on deliverables and achieving goals.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
