Child Care Specialist In Austin

The University of Texas at Austin is looking for a Child Care Specialist to join their Early Child Development Center department. Child Care Specialist — You will care for and teach young children in a child care environment; create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans; supervise and care for 3–5 year olds; communicate daily with parents. You will be instrumental in creating a nurturing atmosphere that enables the mental, social and emotional development of children.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Design and deliver lesson plans

Look after 3-5 year old children with their needs.

Communicate with parents

Supervise assistants

Requirements:

High school graduation or GED

Child Care Center : 1 year (Required)

Equivalent combination of related education and experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience leading 0-5s in a multitude of settings

Child-related field training

Prior experience in a certified center

Bilingual a plus
